What a week in sports….. Peyton Manning packing for the Mile High City, Lehigh’s unbelievable toppling of the Blue Devils, Brittney Griner dunking, the Lakers bid adios to Derek Fisher, Tim Tebow will be chillin with firefighter Ed, and a suspension that sent a shock wave throughout the football community. Even with all of this news feed….I am not done sharing pictures and interviews from the Ed Block Courage Awards.

This event was hosted for sponsors and the generous donors to the Ed Block Courage Awards Foundation. Above is T.J. Lang of the Green Bay Packers preparing to pen his signature. Let’s hope he had good marks in cursive writing…just say’n it’s nice when you’re able to read the autograph

Marcus Cannon of the New England Patriots explaining to the young fans.. “It is imperative you drink milk to have muscles like this”… Actually, I have no clue what they were talking about, but the fans were captivated.

Love these little girls , huge football fans and more persistent than any paparazzi I have ever seen…Jarett Dillard of the Jacksonville Jaguars..I also refer to this type of behavior as “stalkarazzi”..nice work girls

The silent auction…a plethora of NFL memorabilia

Winner I was not, I merely took this picture to elicit jealousy in the hearts of my brother’s Jon and Joel…(Yes..we all have the same initials)

Anthony Herrera beaming…Is he pursuing a modeling career?

Andra Davis of the Buffalo Bills...great smile and he had fabulous shoes…very GQ

Dani and Mike Utley continue to spread the word in their efforts to find a cure for paralysis….

Many awards were given…individuals acknowledged for their contributions to the organization as well as their accomplishments

My girl Tony! Toni! Tone’! Toni told me “It Feels Good” to work for the Baltimore Ravens as their receptionist and loves volunteering for the Ed Block Award Foundation

Mike Nugent of the Cincinnati Bengals along with this wife…A syndicated radio show out of Columbus, OH “Dave and Jimmy” often call Mike as a special guest. Because I have listened to his interviews, I felt like we were old friends. On the other hand, Mike may have thought I was the “stalkarazzi”

No party is complete without comic relief…Brit Miller of the St. Louis Rams fit the bill. Please join me on my write-in campaign for Brit Miller to be on “Dancing With The Stars”….he could take home the gold

Stephen Bowen of the Washington Redskins…I think the other gentlemen are secret service agents that accompanied Stephen…that’s my hypothesis.

DeMeco Ryans of the Houston Texans……during our interview I said Houston Oilers a few times…that certainly tells my age…Wade Phillips was being honored so I may have been channeling his father’s energy

Please stay tuned for the next few blogs…exciting interviews and more incredible pictures from the Ed Block Courage Awards Banquet….an real tribute
